Co-creating Smart Cities for Life

New cities are joining Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) with the launch of the 4th wave that will take place within a workshop at the Smart City Expo Puebla, held by OrganiCity, Cities for Life, OASC and the World Bank.

Info about event

Time

Wednesday 17 February 2016,  at 16:00 - 19:00

Location

Puebla, Mexico

The OASC family is growing: The countries Austria, Mexico, Poland, and Slovenia as well as cities from already existing OASC countries committed themselves to the OASC principles. They agreed on implementing the driven-by-implementation approach, as well as three technical de facto standards, which are an API, a set of data models, and an open data platform.

The workshop “Co-creating Smart Cities for Life” invites policy makers and civic innovators to share experiences and develop concrete next steps for tools for civic engagement in smart city projects and strategies. With Cities for Life, OrganiCity and Open & Agile Smart Cities as a context, the workshop will facilitate a very practical approach.

The agenda for the workshop will focus on defining common challenges for cities to become engaging smart cities and elaborate recommendations on how to solve them.
